If you follow me on facebook you'll see that I recently posted a step by step of all the images and processing applied to create the fairy shot which I recently added to my portfolio. I've had this concept in mind for a long while, in fact since early in the year when we bought my daughter's fairy costume for a fancy dress. But it wasn't until October that I finally found the background I wanted here. 

So, here is the first out of camera image of Imogen in the studio before being cut out:
