Hopefully you all had a good Christmas and New Years. If you haven't already done so, make sure you back up all of your phone and camera pictures and get some printed! I've made a real effort over the weekend to get on top of my Christmas pictures of the family etc and have just ordered a good bundle of prints to ensure I don't leave it too long.
Anyway, I wanted to share a new addition to my portraits portfolio. This ended up being the last professional photo I took in 2013. Objective was to create a composit but to keep the portrait very simple, so this was shot with a single light and I used a grey background which works well when bringing it all together.
Here is the out of camera shot.......
And here is the final image......
Simplest is often best in terms of lighting setup and the image itself. That was the objective for this portrait and I was pretty pleased with the results. Any questions on the processing and retouching feel free to add comments below or get in touch.
Thanks for reading.
